이 세미나를 통해 풍성한 깨달음을 주신 주님께 감사드립니다. 저는 오늘 깊은 감동을 가득 안고 이 자리를 떠납니다.
그동안 우리는 참으로 오랫동안 여러 가지 방법들을 시도하고 시험해 왔습니다. 얼마나 많은 이들이 그렇게 애써왔는지 모릅니다. 하지만 오늘 온 마음을 다해 이 세미나에 참여하며 전해진 모든 가르침과 간증을 들었을 때, 저는 “이제 정말 시작하자, 쟁기를 잡자!”라는 믿음의 결단을 내릴 수밖에 없었습니다.

지난 3년 가까이 이곳을 오가며 배운 제자 훈련의 내용은 매우 신학적이면서도 실제적이었습니다. 무엇보다 기독교의 근본 교리를 삶으로 살아내도록 우리를 끊임없이 도전해 주었습니다. 결국 우리를 변화시키는 것은 이 세미나를 통해 가르쳐 주시는 하나님의 말씀 그 자체임을 고백합니다.

저는 앞으로 이 세미나를 통하여 이미 변화를 경험하고 있는 우리뿐만 아니라, 앞으로 더 많은 사람이 이 놀라운 역사를 경험하게 될 것이라 믿습니다. 바울이 디모데에게 “네가 많은 증인 앞에서 내게 들은 바를 충성된 사람들에게 부탁하라. 그들이 또 다른 사람들을 가르칠 수 있으리라”라고 권면했던 것처럼, 우리 또한 배운 대로 행할 것입니다!

Dominican Republic Discipleship Training Seminar Testimony:

I give thanks to the Lord for letting me learn a lot through this seminar. As we near the end of the seminar, I leave with many deep thoughts. All those who attended the seminar have worked very hard for many years. I attended this seminaras well with all my heart. As I listened to the seminar teachings and testimonies that were shared, I could not help but confess, “It is now the beginning. I will take hold of the plow!”

As I commuted back and forth the past three years to participate in discipleship training, I learned practical theology through the curriculum, which has constantly challenged me to live out the fundamental doctrines of Christianity. And most of all, the Word of God that was taught through this seminar truly transformed us.

I believe that this seminar allowed all those who attended to be transformed. But not only that, I believe that many more people in the future will be influenced through this wonderful work. In 2 Timothy 2:2, Paul exhorted Timothy, “ and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men,[a] who will be able to teach others also”. May we also live out what we have learned!
