“희망이 보였다!”

온 세대 중보기도회를 통해 희망을 보았다.
희망은 ‘앞으로 잘 될 가능성’을 의미하는 단어다.
한국어로는 ‘바람’이라고도 하고 영어로는 ‘hope’나 ‘wish’로 번역된다.
희망은 미래에 대한 낙관적인 기대와 믿음을 포함하며, 어려운 상황에서도 앞으로 나아갈 수 있는 힘을 제공한다.

그러나 희망은 그 기초가 중요하다.
희망의 기초가 무엇이냐에 따라 그 바라는 것이 이루어지는 것이 결정되기 때문이다.
희망은 영원히 변치 않는 진리를 기초로 할 때만이 이루어진다.

온 세대 중보기도회를 통해 희망을 본 것은 기도라는 진리 위에 세워진 것이기 때문이다.

1, 2, 3세대가 함께 모여 부르짖어 구한 것을 하나님은 이루신다.
부모가 자식의 머리에 손을 얹고 기도한 것을 하나님은 이루신다.
옆 사람을 위하여 기도한 것을 하나님은 이루신다.
그래서 희망을 보았다.

당신의 희망은 어디에 있나?

고린도후서 4장 18절은 “보이는 것은 잠깐이요 보이지 않는 것은 영원함이라”라고 말씀하고 있다.
기도를 통해 보이진 않지만, 바라는 것을 구하면 그것은 장차 보이는 것이 된다는 것은 진리다.
이 영원한 진리를 기억하며 진리 안에서 절대적인 희망을 품자.

“I see hope!”
I saw hope at the All-Generation Intercessory Prayer Meeting.
The word “hope” means the possibility that things will go well in the future.
It is also called expectation or wish.
Hope entails positive expectations and optimism.
It gives us strength to move forward even in difficult situations.
But the important thing is the foundation of our hope.
The fulfillment of our hopes depends on its foundation.
Hope is only fulfilled when it is based on the eternal, unchanging truth.
I saw hope at the All-Generation Intercessory Prayer Meeting because it is
built on the truth of prayer.
God will fulfill the petitions of all three generations.
The Lord will hear the prayers of the parents who prayed with their hands
on their children’s heads.
God will answer all the prayers we prayed for those sitting next to us.
That is why I had hope.
In what do you place your hope?
2 Corinthians 4:18 states, “As we look not to the things that are seen but to
the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but
the things that are unseen are eternal.”
When we ask through prayer for things that we cannot see, they will soon
be tangible and visible to us.
Let us this not forget this truth and embrace hope with assurance.
