“제6회 목회자 제자훈련 세미나에 참석한 목사님의 간증”

안녕하세요.
목회자 세미나 6기에 참석한 박노식 목사입니다.

저는 런던 할렐루야 교회를 개척한 지 이제 1년이 되었습니다. 개척의 길은 감사와 기쁨이 있었지만 동시에 무거운 짐과 도전도 함께했습니다. 그런데 감사한 것은, 교우들 가운데서도 성경공부와 말씀훈련을 더 깊이 배우고 싶다는 요청이 있었다는 사실입니다. 이는 하나님께서 성도들 안에 이미 성령님께서 영적인 갈망을 심어주셨음을 보여주는 것이며, 저에게는 큰 기쁨과 도전이 되었습니다. 성도들을 어떻게 말씀 위에 든든히 세울지, 또 교회를 어떻게 주님의 뜻 가운데 세워갈지 고민하던 차에 목회자 세미나 소식을 접하게 되었고, 성도님들의 기도와 격려 속에 기대하는 마음으로 참석하게 되었습니다.

세미나 가운데 저는 제자훈련에 유익한 많은 것을 배우게 되었고, 섬기는 교회에 어떻게 적용할지 깊이 고민하게 되었습니다. 특히 강사 이종식 목사님의 강의를 바로 앞자리에서 들으며 큰 은혜를 받았습니다. 강사 목사님께서 예수 그리스도의 구원에 대해 증거하실 때, 저는 그분의 눈가에 맺힌 눈물과 진심을 보았습니다. 예수님을 인격적으로 만난 사람만이 전할 수 있는 확신과 열정, 그리고 그 감동이 제 마음을 깊이 울렸습니다. 저 역시 제자훈련의 본질을 되새기며, 복음 앞에서 다시금 겸손히 서야 함을 깨닫게 되었습니다.

무엇보다 이번 세미나를 통해, 저는 제 자신이 앞으로 눈물로 한 영혼 한 영혼을 위해 기도하며 복음을 전하는 목회자가 되어야 함을 깊이 다짐했습니다. 하나님께서 시작하신 교회를 끝까지 붙드심을 믿으며, 복음을 눈물로 전하는 목회자의 길을 겸손히 걸어가겠습니다.

이제 저는 교회로 돌아가 9월 말부터 제자훈련의 여정을 시작하려 합니다. 제자훈련을 통해 성도 한 사람 한 사람이 예수님의 제자로 자라가길 간절히 소망합니다. 저의 바람은 교회 모든 성도님들이 천국의 가치를 삶의 기준으로 삼고, 예수님께서 주시는 생명의 샘물을 날마다 마시며, 세상 속에서 빛과 소금으로 살아가는 것입니다.

아울러 이번 세미나를 위해 준비하시고 사랑의 수고를 아끼지 않으신 베이사이드장로교회에도 깊이 감사드립니다. 그리고 사랑하는 성도님들께 부탁드리기는, 런던 할렐루야 교회를 위해 새벽에 생각날 때마다 기도해 주시기를 간절히 바랍니다. 여러분의 기도가 저와 교회를 세우는 가장 큰 힘이 될 것입니다.

Pastoral Discipleship Training Seminar testimony by a London pastor:

It has now been a year since I planted Hallelujah Church in London. The journey of church planting has been filled with gratitude and joy, but it also not without challenges. What I am especially thankful for is that some of our church members have expressed a desire to go deeper into Bible study and discipleship training. This shows that the Holy Spirit has already planted a spiritual hunger within the hearts of the believers, which has been a great joy and challenge for me.

As I wrestled with how to help the congregation establish firmly on the Word and build the church according to God’s will, I came across the news about the pastoral discipleship training seminar. With much prayer and encouragement of our church members, I was able to attend the seminar with great anticipation.

Through the seminar, I learned many valuable things about discipleship training. And I’ve been thinking about how to apply them in my church. I was especially blessed by Pastor Chong Shik Lee during the lectures. Because I sat in the front row, I was able to clearly see Pastor Lee’s sincerity and passion for the Lord, especially when he talked about salvation through Jesus Christ. My heart was moved by Pastor Lee because his passion and conviction for God conveyed his personal encounter with the Lord. His sincerity reminded me of the essence of discipleship training and led me to humbly stand before the Gospel once again.

Through this seminar, I decided to become a pastor who earnestly prays and shares the Gospel. I believe that the Lord who planted His church will sustain it to the end. I will humbly walk on the path He has called me and share the Good News.

When I return to the church, I plan to begin discipleship training at the end of September. I earnestly hope that through discipleship training, each and every member of the congregation will grow as a disciple of Christ. My desire is that all the congregants will live with an eternal perspective, daily drink from the fountain of life that Jesus provides and live as the salt and light of this world.

I would also like to express my deepest gratitude to The Korean Presbyterian Church of Bayside for their beautiful serving hearts and all the preparations that went into making this seminar happen. And to the beloved KPCB congregants, I earnestly ask you to keep Hallelujah Church of London in your prayers. Your prayers will be the greatest source of strength for me and our church.
