“성탄절 날 나의 결단”

예수님은 한 비천한, 평범한 여인인 마리아를 통해 오셨다
그녀가 수태고지를 전하는 천사에게 다음과 같이 말하였기 때문이다.

“주의 여종이오니 말씀대로 내게 이루어지이다”

이 땅에 태어난 예수님을 제일 먼저 본 사람은 천한 직업으로 알려진 목자들이었다.
그들이 천사의 말을 듣고 구유에 누이신 예수님께로 달려간 결과였다.
이 땅에 태어나신 예수님께 최초로 선물을 드렸던 자들은 이방인인 동방 박사들이었다.
그들이 별을 통한 자연 계시에 순종하였기 때문이다.

하나님은 여러 방법으로 귀천을 가리지 않고 인간에게 예수님이 그리스도임을 알리시고 복된 길을 알려 주신다.
그리고 그것을 믿음으로 받아들이는 자가 복되다.

성탄절 날 오신 예수님은 계속해서 성령을 통해 말씀하시고 있다.
나의 증인이 되라고
그 뜻은 예수님이 이 땅에 구주로 오신 것과
그분을 믿는 자마다 사망에서 벗어나 영생을 얻을 것과
이 땅에서 진정한 평화 속에 사는 길을 알려주는 자가 되라는 것이다.

그러나 아무나 그렇게 살 수 있는 것은 아니다.
그리스도를 만난 자만
그리고 그의 은혜를 체험한 자만 가능하다.

예수님은 우리가 그를 날마다 체험할 수 있는 길을 알려주셨다.
기도할 때
그리고 그의 말씀을 따라 순종할 때 우리는 예수님을 만나게 된다.
그래서 그의 증인으로 살아갈 수 있다.
그리스도의 증인이 되기 위해 기도를 멈추지 말자
말씀 생활과 순종의 삶을 멈추지 말자

그래서 비천한 나였지만 영광스러운 증인의 삶을 살다가 주 앞에 서자!

My Christmas Resolution

Jesus came through an ordinary humble woman, Mary.
For she said to the angel who made the announcement,
“Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.”
The first people who saw Jesus when He was born were lowly shepherds.
They were able to meet baby Jesus who lay in the manger because they ran to see Him after they received the word from the angels.
The wisemen were the first ones to offer Jesus gifts after He was born.
This is because they obeyed God’s revelation that was revealed to them in nature.

God uses various ways to let everyone—people from all backgrounds—know that Jesus is the Christ and shows us how to be blessed.
And those who accept this in faith are truly blessed.
Jesus who came on Christmas continues to tell us through the Holy Spirit to be His witnesses.
He wants us to be a testimony and share with others that Jesus came to this world to be our savior and that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. And He wants us to tell others that Jesus is the One who shows us how to live with peace in this world.

But not everyone lives like this.
Only those who have truly met Christ and experienced His grace can do so.
Jesus shows us how we can experience Him every day.
When we pray and follow His Word, we meet Jesus.
And that is how we can live as His witnesses.

Let us keep praying so that we can be His witnesses.
And let us not stop obeying His Word.
May we, who were once ordinary and humble, lead a glorifying life as witnesses and stand before the Lord.
