“한 사람의 믿음의 꿈”

하나님은 당신의 위대한 일을 이루기 위해 사람에게 믿음의 꿈을 주신다.
한 사람의 믿음의 꿈은 누룩과 같아서 온 세상에 영향을 발휘한다.
예수님 한 분의 믿음의 꿈 때문에 제자들이 만들어지고 온 세상에 복음이 전파되었다.
아브라함의 믿음의 꿈 때문에 이스라엘 민족이 탄생하였고 가나안을 소망하는 일이 벌어졌다.
요셉 한 사람의 믿음의 꿈 때문에 기근 속에서 하나님을 증거하는 한 민족이 만들어졌다.
모세 한 사람의 믿음의 꿈 때문에 300만 명의 민족이 출애굽 하게 되고 가나안을 향하여 가게 되었다.
여호수아 한 사람의 믿음의 꿈 때문에 가나안 정복이 이루어지게 되었다.
사도 바울 한 사람의 믿음의 꿈 때문에 미개했던 유럽이 기독교 문화로 바뀌었다.
마가 한 사람의 믿음의 꿈 때문에 이집트에 천만 명이 넘는 크리스천이 만들어졌다.
짐 엘리오트 한 사람의 믿음의 꿈 때문에 중남미에 수많은 식인종들이 변화되었다.
토마스, 언더우드, 아펜젤러의 믿음의 꿈 때문에 암흑의 나라로 불렸던 대한민국이 예수님을 믿는 자가 천만 명이 넘는 나라로 바뀌었다.
아, 한 사람의 믿음의 꿈이 얼마나 대단한가!
오늘도 나 한 사람이 갖는 믿음의 꿈이 또 다른 위대한 일을 일으키게 됨을 예측하며 마음이 벅차오른다.
지금은 보이진 않아도 보는 것처럼 믿음의 꿈을 꾸며 달려가리라!
나 어떤 일에도 굴하지 않고 그 꿈을 이루기 위해 목숨도 불사하리라.
주여, 나에게 이 꿈이 식지 않도록 계속 불을 붙여 주옵소서!
이 불이 함께 하는 모든 이들에게도 붙게 하옵소서!

“One Person’s Vision of Faith”

God gives vision of faith to accomplish His great work.
And that person’s vision of faith is like yeast that impacts the entire world.
Through Jesus’ vision of faith, disciples were made and thereby the gospel spread throughout the world. Because of Abraham’s vision of faith, the nation of Israel was born, and thereby, they were able to hope for Canaan. Joseph’s vision of faith formed a nation that testified to God in the midst of a famine. Through Moses’ vision of faith, more than 300,000 people were able to escape and move toward Canaan. Because of Joshua’s vision of faith, Canaan was conquered. Apostle Paul’s vision of faith enabled barbaric Europe to adopt a Christian culture. Through Mark’s vision of faith, more than ten million people became Christians in Eypt. Because of Jim Elliot’s vision of faith, many cannibals in Central and South Americas were transformed. And through Thomas, Underwood, and Appenzeller’s vision of faith, South Korea—a country that was once called dark—transformed to become a nation of more than 10 million believers.

Oh, how great is one man’s vision of faith!
My heart flutters with excitement when I think of all that will be accomplished through my vision of faith. Even if I cannot see it right now, I will continue to hold onto my vision of faith and run until the end! No matter what, I will not give up. I am willing to even risk my life to accomplish the vision I have.

Lord, please keep my flame burning so that my vision for You does not fade away.
And may the flame in me ignite a fire in everyone in my life.
