“내가 알고 있는 하나님이 중요하게 여기시는 것”

외모가 아닌 진심
잘생긴 것보다는 아름다운 마음
능력 있는 것보다는 하나님께 대한 믿음
머리 좋은 것보다는 하나님께 묻는 삶
장황한 말보다는 실천하는 행동
사람들이 알아주는 삶보다는 하나님이 인정하는 삶

손해가 나도 약속을 지키는 삶
말에 책임을 지는 삶
맡은 일에 최선을 다하는 삶
항상 하나님 앞에서 소망을 갖는 삶
목적이 하나님 나라 확장인 삶
받은 은혜를 기억하는 삶
대접받는 것보다는 섬기는 삶
가장 작은 자를 존중하는 삶
그 누구도 무시하지 않는 삶
안 좋은 일에도 감사의 조건을 발견하는 삶

그리 아니하실지라도의 믿음으로 사는 삶
어제보다는 오늘이 더 나은 삶을 살려는 삶
이웃에게 도움을 받기보다는 유익이 되는 삶을 살려는 삶
나로 말미암아 화평이 이루어지는 삶
한 알의 밀알이 되어 열매를 맺으려는 삶
나의 명예의 꽃을 떨어뜨려 그리스도가 영광을 받는 삶
평생 하나님의 심부름꾼으로 사는 삶

주여, 이처럼 제 눈을 감는 순간까지 완주하게 하옵소서!

“What is important to the God I know”

Sincerity rather than appearances
A beautiful heart rather than a beautiful face
A godly heart rather than capabilities
Asking God for advice rather than relying on our intelligence
Putting our words into action rather than just talking
Being acknowledged by God rather than people
Fulfilling our promises even if it’s disadvantageous to us
Striving to keep our word
Giving our best in all our responsibilities
Always putting our hopes in the Lord
Living with the purpose of expanding God’s Kingdom
Remembering God’s grace
Serving others rather than receiving honor
Showing respect to even those who are considered to be insignificant
A life that nobody looks down on
Discovering reasons to give thanks even when the situation is bad
Living by faith even if He does not do what we ask of Him
Trying to lead a better life today than yesterday
Helping others rather than receiving their help
Promoting peace wherever we go
Producing fruit like a grain of wheat that falls into the earth
Tossing my flower of honor so that Christ would be glorified
Living everyday as God’s servant.
Lord! Let me live like this until my last day.
