새해에 삶을 복되게 만드는 길은 이것입니다

1. 오직 성경 (Sola Scriptura)
신앙과 생활의 올바른 길잡이는 성경에 있습니다. 그러므로 어떻게 살아야 하는지를 알기 위해서는 아침마다 성경을 묵상하고 그 말씀을 따라 살아야 합니다.

2. 오직 은혜 (Sola Gratia)
구원은 오직 하나님의 거저 주시는 은혜로만 가능하다는 뜻입니다. 그리고 이 타락한 세상에서 우리의 삶에 맺히는 모든 열매도 하나님의 은혜로 맺혀지는 것입니다. 세상의 모든 과실이 하나님이 때를 따라 비를 내리시고 햇빛을 비추셔야 열매를 맺는 것과 같습니다. 그러므로 열심히 살아도 하나님의 은혜가 없으면 불가능하다는 것을 기억하며 하나님의 은혜를 아침마다 구해야 합니다.

3. 오직 믿음 (Sola Fide)
하나님이 주신 은혜를 받아들이는 유일한 통로는 예수 그리스도를 향한 믿음 뿐이라는 것입니다. 그러므로 부정적인 생각을 버리고 하나님이 약속하신 대로 은혜를 베푸신다는 것을 믿으며 새해를 시작해야 할 것입니다.

4. 오직 그리스도 (Solus Christus)
구원의 길은 오직 한 분, 예수 그리스도를 통해서만 가능하며, 인간과 하나님 사이의 중보자는 오직 그리스도 뿐이라는 고백입니다. 그렇습니다. 그리스도가 은혜의 통로입니다. 그러므로 그리스도신 예수님을 잊지 말고 예수님만 바라보는 삶을 살아야 합니다.

5. 오직 하나님께 영광 (Soli Deo Gloria)
인간의 구원을 포함한 모든 삶의 목적과 결과는 오직 하나님의 영광만을 위한 것이어야 한다는 의미입니다. 그러므로 복된 삶은 먹거나 마시거나, 사업을 운영하거나, 자녀를 양육하거나 그 모든 목적은 하나님께 영광을 돌리기 위함이어야 합니다.

이 다섯 가지를 삶에 적용하여 우리의 삶을 개혁해 나가며 산다면 새해는 분명히 복되고 은혜롭고 행복한 삶이 될 줄로 믿습니다.

How to be blessed in the new year

1. Sola Scriptura-Scripture Alone
The right way to live by faith is found in the Bible. Thus, in order to know how to live each day, we must read the Bible and meditate on His Word daily. And we should follow His Word.

2. Sola Gratia-Grace Alone
Salvation is possible only through God’s free gift of grace. And all the fruit that we bear in this corrupted world is also by His grace. Things that bear fruit in this world is produced only when God sends rain and sunshine according to each season. This is true in our lives as well. Therefore, even if we might work hard, nothing is possible if God doesn’t bless us. We must remember this and seek God’s grace every morning.

3. Sola Fide- Faith Alone
The only way we can receive the grace God provides is by having faith in Jesus
Christ. Therefore, we should put aside all negative thoughts and begin the new year trusting that God always blesses us according to His promises.

4. Solus Christus-Christ Alone
Salvation is only through Jesus Christ. And Christ is the only mediator between man and God. Thus, Jesus is the vessel of God’s grace. Therefore, we must not forget Jesus the Christ and fix our eyes only on Him.

5. Soli Deo Gloria-Glory to God Alone
The purpose and end result of everyone’s lives, including our salvation, is solely to glorify God alone. Therefore, in order to be blessed, we must do all things—whether eating, drinking, running a business or raising children—for God’s glory.

I believe that if we apply these five principles to transform our lives, the new year will be full of blessings and God’s grace.
