“예측할 수 없는 하나님의 섭리”

나의 삶을 돌아보면
그리스도 안에서 믿음의 꿈을 꾸며 산다 하지만
한 걸음 한 걸음 살아가는 순간이
마치 자수의 뒷면을 보는 것 같아
무슨 그림이 그려지고 있는지 전혀 예측할 수 없으니
아무 쓸모 없는 일을 하고
시간을 낭비하며
다람쥐 쳇바퀴 돌듯 헛된 삶을 사는 것 같았다.

그러던 어느 날, 퍼즐 조각이 맞춰지듯
모든 것이 연결되어
혹시 꿈이 이루어지려나 어렴풋이 기대하게 되고
점점 또렷이 드러나는 자수의 앞면을 보며
나의 꿈을 이루기 위해 모든 것이 존재했다는 것을 깨닫게 되니
하나님의 섭리는 예측할 수 없는 신비스러운 것이라.

인생의 뒷면을 보지 말고
하나님이 그려나가시는 앞면을 기대하며
소망 중에 거하는 성도가 되리라.

“The Unfathomable Providence of God”

When I reflect on my life,
Even while trying to live out a faithful dream in Christ,
Every step I take forward feels like looking at the back of an embroidery piece.
Since I can't tell at all what picture is being made,
It used to feel like I was just spinning my wheels— doing pointless work, wasting time,
And running in circles like a hamster in a cage.
But then, as if puzzle pieces falling into place, everything started to connect.
I caught a faint glimmer of hope that my dream might actually come true.
Seeing the front side of the embroidery finally come into focus, I realized that everything had a purpose to fulfill my dream.
God's providence is so mysterious and unpredictable.
So, rather than looking at the unfinished backside of life,
I will dwell in hope, eagerly anticipating the masterpiece God is weaving on the front.
